    Description

    Circa 2000- Large Bow Loom with Long Band of Quillwork by Ruby Nadli, Dene- South Slavey Tribe
    3+ cm width x 46+cm quilled segment length
    Features an intricate pattern of loomed quillwork consisting of six floral and three geometric motifs done with small diameter dyed quills on a background of white porcupine quills. The loom is constructed from a small diameter stick with bark removed. The threads are sewn to a wide strip of moose hide at one end and the stick at the other with a white spacer attached.
