When I first pulled it out of the box I didn't think much of it. But all assembled it looks great. I read from other reviews that it could take a long time to assemble (I think one review said 4 hours). But I had this together in a little over an hour. It's not rocket science. The instructions are pretty clear and aside from a handful of screws it mostly snaps together. Be sure to get it right because the parts lock and they won't come apart.

We had to tear down an old wooden arch and this was the replacement. It is so sturdy and well made it could last 100 years! The instructions were mostly clear - there were a few things that could have been clearer (there was no explanation as to what the L and R had to do with installation) In spite of that we assembled it easily and it looks great in it's location. I was concerned about this product because of the negative reviews that i read. I thought it went together easily and drilling the holes wasn't a problem. The arbor comes with long anchors and because of the wobble comments i sunk these deep into the ground. I just installed this a few weeks ago so nothing is growing on it yet but we have had a lot of heavy wind and rain storms since it went up and it has withstood those very well. It looks nice and is attractive. I consider it a very good product for the price. i would purchase again and recommend to a friend.

Fairly easy to assemble and looks great. Once anchored in the ground it's sturdy. We are using it as a walk through to our back yard and it's positioned between two tall bushes which probably helps with the wind not being able to get to the sides of it. We chose to not anchor it down with concrete but instead we used steel bars that we put in the ground first. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I, too, bought this item back in Feb i believe it was needed help to find out what i was doing wrong...the guy who assisted me was too good..he told me what i was doing wrong and after that call i had it up in like 45 mins...its not flimsy, not by any means...i find it to be very stable and it did withstand 70 mile an hour winds just the other day and 65 the week before...think its gorgeous and am happy i have it in my yard,,,very satified with this arbor..thank you Hayneedle...

Easy to assemble. My husband assembled them and got them in the ground all in one day. They look so beautiful they have really changed the entire feeling of our garden. We wish we had done this year's ago! Product is exactly what I wanted. Good price point, shipped quickly, easy to handle, assemble and get in the ground quickly. I like the fact that these arches are sturdy enough but lightweight. We were able to easily position them in different areas of the garden to see where we liked them best. We bought three and wanted them spaced evenly, adjustments were a breeze! One day project that dramatically enhanced our garden. Instant satisfaction! One downside is that the arch rafters are a bit flimsy. (Rafters not the arch itself). But I still gave this review 5 stars for overall satisfaction! I am very pleased with this purchase! Would definitely purchase again!

Assembly was fairly easy but you need to pay attention to the instructions. We added metal pieces inside the bottom pieces and cemented it into the ground. Looks great; plan to install a children's playground behind it in the sand.

I bought this toward the end of the summer as a gateway to my backyard. I had a sharp, thorny tree whose branches were leaning over and used the Arbour to prop them up and make an attractive entryway.The instructions were pretty good and I recommend laying out all the pieces first. My young son 'helped' me to connect some of the pieces incorrectly and although the pieces are supposed to lock together, I was able to pull them apart again without too much effort.The arbour is fairly lightweight but is sturdy enough. The shipping was super-quick.Overall, it gets the job done and looks great.

I love this! It is well made and easy to put together IF you go one step at a time and watch the diagrams, like women do and men don't.We have it sitting near the bank to the lake and call it 'The Arbor to Nowhere' It serves no other purpose but to look nice and friendly. I have always wanted an arbor on the property but couldn't come up with a location until this year.Free delivery right to our door. Very reasonable too.A must have. LOVE!

East to assemble. Looks Beautiful. Surprisingly sturdy. We put them (2) together in one afternoon, and had them anchored in the ground and ready to go in less than a day. We had some old hollow powder coated steel arbors that had seen their best days and these are a great replacement. The white color shows off the ivy even better than our old arbors. I am going to purchase another one for the walkway leading to our garden.

Purchased this arbor to enhance the entrance to our vegetable garden and we love it. It took no time to build the arbor and installation was just as easy. Just as we finished anchoring the arbor down a pop up thunderstorm showed up with some hefty winds. Arbor withstood the storm without a problem. Would definitely recommend the product.

I used this arbor as a transition piece from one part of the yard to another. I placed a trumpet vine on either side to grace the arbor with (hopefully!) red beauty when it blooms. Arbor was very easy to assemble - did it alone, even though instructions said to have a helper! I also appreciate having the extra leg lengths for stability. The price and elegant design is well worth everything!

I bought the arbor to support a climbing rose. I wanted a classic design (clean lines; white; elegant; with big enough openings in the trellis to accommodate the rose canes.) The arbor fits the bill. Visually, it's a lovely addition to my garden. And I like the fact that it's vinyl, especially in the wet climate of the Northwest. The biggest disadvantage is the fact that very few pilot holes were drilled. I had to call the distributor twice for help in assembly. And a drill bit was not included in the kit so I had to go out and buy one. Not expensive but inconvenient. It took two people and quite a bit of time to secure the two trellises and the arch. The biggest challenge was to make sure things were square. Had there been pilot holes, the assembly would be have been much quicker and foolproof. I strongly suggest the design be altered in this way.

I bought this arch also for weddings as I am an event designer and planner. It will look beautiful decorated at altar area and also looks gorgeous with flowers on it. We don't even need to put in the screws up top as it stays pretty stable without them - sometimes even too much as it can be a little hard even for my husband to remove the top arch piece sometimes.

Assembly was easy and took me about an hour. Everything fit perfectly, all the parts were there and this was a joy to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Beautiful addition to landscaping. [...] easy to assemble. It will serve as a trellis for a beautiful red Mandevilla plant.For those who are worried about stability - we hammered large metal spikes into the holes we dug for the footing extensions. We then placed the arbor (with footings attached) over the spikes to give it extra stability.If you want something a little more sturdy, you'll have to purchase one of the pricier models. This model is not capable of supporting a person leaning on it, children playing on or around it, etc.

Assembly was relatively easy except for the final anchoring. Digging holes as directions indicate were not possible in my location with gravel and rock so I had to improvise with pipes driven into the ground and slipping square tubes over them. Otherwise the arbor was as advertised and decent quality for the price

This arbor was placed at the beginning of a medium size corner garden. We planted honeysuckle vines on both sides. Eventually the vine will climb and cover the arbor and possibly attracting humming birds with its red trumpet shaped flowers.

It's a value for the money. Pretty easy to put together but to level it after digging a 3-1/2' hole is a little tricky. The best way is to do one leg on each side and the use a level to adjust the other two legs.

I had a wooden trellis to hold yp a grape vine but it rotted so I thought I would try this. I am 62 years old and I put it together with my 12 yr old grandaughter. It was very easy. It looks beautiful.

The White Vinyl Arbor was used in our flower garden for our climbing vines (that attract humingbirds) to attach to. The Arbor was easy to put together and install. You just can't beat a pretty white arbor in the middle of a flower garden, it makes it look sooooo pretty.

This is the second vinyl arbor in my yard. The first one is over 20 years old and still looks great. This arbor came with wonderful instructions and went up in almost no time at all. It sits over a path behind my first vinyl arbor and I'm enjoying the new dimension and sense of depth it added to my garden. This arbor was a great value for the price. I'm trying to figure out where I can put another one!
